What inspired you to start blogging?
Hmm.... Well, I guess it's that I found some blogs I liked, got obsessed, and wanted to do it too. And for communication online. I live out in the boonies and there's not a lot of people to talk to around here all the time, so it's nice to get to catch up online.
How did you come up with the name of your blog?
I am a sucker for alliteration. Always have been. My brain just automatically thinks of things like that, so I came up with it and liked it. No planning, just fly by the seat of my pants. Cuz that's how I roll, yo.
What is your favorite blog that you like to read?
Oh wow.... I couldn't name just one. There are many. Many, many, many. Most of them are in my blog roll. :)
Tell about your dream job?
I've actually thought about this a bit before.... I would like to have my own little home business. Making something. It has to be creative and enjoyable to me or it won't flourish. I've been DYING to have my own herbal body care line. I just started working on some products here in the past few months. I haven't blogged about that yet, so when I do, just remember to act surprised. :)
OR I'd really like to help JD run some sort of business. We've joked about having a remodel business for old cars. Or designing tattoo design T-shirts. Just something out of the ordinary. We ain't no normal folk in this joint.
Is your glass half full or half empty?
It really depends on the day. I TRY TRY TRY to be positive. I write positive things on post-its and stick them around the house to keep me pointed in that direction. But man, if I get down in the dumps, everything is just poop and it takes me a bit to climb out of that hole. Positivity is my goal for the year and self-acceptance, too.
If you could go anywhere for a week's vacation, where would you go?
Oh my... I have no idea. We've only had one vacation in the 13 years of our marriage. It would just be so weird to just GO anywhere. JD wants to go on a cruise. Me... not so much. I WOULD go to make him happy, and I'll admit it, there would be some awesome things to see, but I have a rabid, insane fear of boats when you're out on the water and can't see land. Freaks me out. And after that whole Carnival cruise debacle lately where the ship was stranded without power for 5 days, NOT really hankering for a cruise.
I DO want to go to Ireland someday. And sing in a real Irish pub. And try an authentic Guinness.
What food can you absolutely not eat?
Seafood. TOTALLY allergic. And I'm not a fan of lima beans.
Dark chocolate or milk chocolate?
Depends on what I'm drinking. I LOVE milk chocolate with hot coffee. Shoot, I just like chocolate!
How much time do you spend blogging?
HA! Well, if you've followed me, you can attest to this: NOT ENOUGH. I might spend a couple of hours a week.
Do you watch TV - if so, what are some of your favorite shows?
We don't have TV or satellite, but we do have Netflix, so I catch up on my shows on that. Right now I'm big into The Walking Dead (haven't seen season 3 yet and I'm DYING!), Downton Abbey, Doctor Who (I'm totally on the David Tennant bandwagon right now.), Ghost Whisperer (I've watched all of it, but I keep rewatching, coveting J-Love Hewitt's wardrobe and boobs and hair, etc.), Vicar of Dibley, Fawlty Towers, Mr. Bean (We love British Comedies. Makes me feel cultured.). I WAS into True Blood, but season 4 just kind of crapped out for me. I wound up facepalming through the first 2 episodes and couldn't go further. I have read the books though, except for the last 2. I know there are more shows I like, but I can't brain today, I have the dumb.
