Boy-Made Birthday Cake!

The boys thought it was terrible that I didn't have a birthday cake on my birthday. So they volunteered to make me one. Here it is! :) It was yummy!

And the recipe itself was a birthday present from my blog buddy, Kelly, over at Mom Got Blog and Eatpicks. I'd thrown up a question about boy-made cakes and she immediately sent me this recipe. THANK YOU, KELLY!!!!

It's SUPER easy. And quick. AND YUM!

Those white specks on top of our cake aren't normal, it's powdered sugar that didn't fully dissolve. Evidently, even a quick cake isn't quick enough when you're fixing a cake for Mom. Or cake, in general.
